Application portals reject files that are too large — IRCC allows up to 4 MB per file, the US CEAC portal up to 2 MB. These tools run entirely in your browser: your documents are never uploaded to a server — they never leave your device.

1 · Compress a PDF to a target size

Best for scanned documents and photo-heavy files. The compressor re-encodes pages as images at a resolution that fits your target — note this means text is no longer selectable in the result, which is fine for scans and supporting documents. If your PDF is already text-based and small, it may not shrink much.
