Strategic Initiative Stream

A stream for French-speaking candidates who want to live and work in New Brunswick. Its pathways cover francophone workers in the province, graduates of Universite de Moncton and the CCNB college network, candidates who receive a letter of interest, and francophones who have lived in New Brunswick for a year while working remotely for a Canadian employer outside Quebec.

Key requirements

Age	19 years or older
Education	High school diploma or equivalent
Language	Minimum NCLC 5 in French in all abilities (minimum CLB 5)
Work experience	At least 1 year of qualifying work experience in the last 5 years; waived for New Brunswick post-secondary graduates
Job offer	Depends on the stream
Ties to the province	Remote-work pathway requires 12 months of living in New Brunswick; proof of settlement funds is waived for candidates living in New Brunswick or holding a valid New Brunswick job offer
