Nova Scotia: Express Entry

Nova Scotia's enhanced stream aligned with federal Express Entry, covering candidates with at least one year of skilled work experience gained in Nova Scotia and a separate set of sub-criteria for physicians holding an approved opportunity with Nova Scotia Health or the IWK Health Centre. The province issues letters of interest to selected Express Entry candidates; invited physicians must submit an expression of interest within 30 calendar days. The former Labour Market Priorities stream no longer appears as a standalone stream on the official site after the 2026 consolidation.
