Work Permit Stream
The Business Impact category route for entrepreneurs: applicants come to Prince Edward Island on a work permit, start or buy a business and operate it for at least a year under a performance agreement before they can be nominated. Although the stream remains listed and expressions of interest are accepted, the province invited no business candidates at all during 2026.
Invitation only
Expressions of interest are ranked and invitations issued in monthly draws; the province issued no business invitations in any of its 11 draws held in 2026 through October 16, 2026.
