Quebec Experience Program (PEQ) — Temporary Foreign Workers stream
Direct-application route to a Quebec Selection Certificate for temporary foreign workers already working legally in Quebec in skilled occupations. Eligible candidates apply directly in Arrima during an intake period rather than waiting for a PSTQ invitation, but the 2026 reopening is temporary and the first intake is limited to workers who had already accumulated at least two years of qualifying Quebec experience by November 19, 2025.
Open
Abolished on November 19, 2025, then temporarily reopened for two years (July 2, 2026 to July 2, 2028). Applications are received only in intake periods: the first runs July 2 to October 31, 2026 in Arrima, with no cap, and only for people who already met the reception criteria as of November 19, 2025. Further intake periods before July 2028 are possible but not announced; the program is scheduled to end in July 2028.
