Human Capital Priorities
Former Express Entry-linked OINP stream through which Ontario searched the federal Express Entry pool and sent notifications of interest to candidates whose skills matched provincial priorities. Candidates could not apply directly; they needed a notification of interest and an active Express Entry profile, and a nomination added 600 CRS points. Ontario no longer searches the Express Entry pool under this stream.
Closed
Closed in the 2026 OINP redesign: the stream was removed effective June 25, 2026 (announced June 26, 2026 on the official 2026 OINP updates page) and replaced by the Ontario Workforce Priority stream. No further invitations will be issued under it; applications already submitted after an invitation are assessed under the rules in effect at submission.
