PhD Graduate
Former OINP stream for doctoral graduates, and in some cases PhD candidates, of eligible Ontario institutions, which did not require a job offer. It ran through the expression of interest system and received its last invitations in April 2026 together with the Masters Graduate stream. It was removed in the June 2026 redesign with no direct replacement.
Closed
Closed in the 2026 OINP redesign: the stream was removed effective June 25, 2026 (announced June 26, 2026 on the official 2026 OINP updates page) and replaced by the Ontario Workforce Priority stream. No further invitations will be issued under it; applications already submitted after an invitation are assessed under the rules in effect at submission.
