Permanent immigration pilot program for workers in the artificial intelligence, information technologies and visual effects sectors
A time-limited pilot for foreign workers and Quebec graduates in artificial intelligence, and for foreign workers in information technologies and visual effects, with Francophone and francization profiles. It ended as planned at the start of 2026, alongside Quebec's other two permanent immigration pilots; only its Francophone AI profile was still receiving applications in late 2025. Workers in these sectors are now directed to the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ) through Arrima.
Closed
Ended as planned on January 1, 2026; no new applications can be submitted. Applications for permanent selection submitted before that date continue to be reviewed by the Ministère.
