Permanent immigration pilot program for workers in food processing
A time-limited pilot that gave temporary foreign workers in Quebec's food-processing sector a dedicated route to permanent selection. It ran its planned course and closed at the start of 2026, alongside Quebec's other two permanent immigration pilots. Workers in this sector who want to settle permanently are now directed to declare their interest in Arrima under the Skilled Worker Selection Program (PSTQ).
Closed
Ended as planned on January 1, 2026; no new applications can be submitted. Applications for permanent selection submitted before that date continue to be reviewed by the Ministère.
